Steele - Columbia

Mrs. Columbia Steele,wife of Rev. 'J' Steele, a former resident of this city, died on Monday morning of consumption, at their home in Richmond. The remains were taken to Cincinnati, where the funeral services were held in tho Spring Grove Chapel, and interment made by the side of her daughter, Miss Nettie, who died some time since. Mrs. Steele was a woman who was beloved by a host of friends in this city and county, and though they mourn her death, yet they have they comforting assurance that "blessed are the dead who die in the Lord." She leaves a husband, son Charley and daughter, Myrtle. - thanks muches KH
